Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

The physiotherapists at Loftus Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation are experienced with treating clients pre and post orthopaedic surgery. Sometimes we are asked by the treating orthopaedic surgeon to help their client try to avoid surgery. This is achieved by reducing pain and swelling, as well as improving range of movement and strength. Regardless this approach pre surgery helps quicken recovery time post surgery.

The team at Loftus Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation will work closely with your Orthopaedic Surgeon, to produce the best possible outcome for you. Often your Orthopaedic Surgeon will have specific physiotherapy rehabilitation protocol that will need to be followed. This protocol will take in time-specific and ordered goals of treatment.

The physios are in regular contact with the surgeon to keep him/ her informed of your progress.
